This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 1

The question of the day is “Why do I want to live the freedom lifestyle?”

I’m very lucky to currently co-own and operate a business. It allows me a great deal of freedom. Unfortunately my current business doesn’t lend itself to being location independent. And for me location independent is my freedom lifestyle of choice. This includes the ability to travel more often and for longer periods. And spend time learning and enjoying new skills and interests. In my case photography and writing.

Here’s the thing about travelling. It reduces life to a more basic level. We discover all we really need is good health, food, water and safe shelter. Everything else is a bonus. It also helps to clear the mind and make focus easier. Definitely an issue for me.

Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in you life… Confucius

Well said.

Being able to earn a living and contribute to society doing something you love to do is the ultimate freedom lifestyle. So I won’t take for granted or complain that I am getting older. It is privilege not everyone is lucky enough to enjoy. Instead, I will happily embark on my journey towards my chosen freedom lifestyle.

And let’s face it. At this point retirement is out of the question so I’m off to enjoy doing something I love so I won’t ever have to work again.
